Cheryl Laughlin, the school's founder, has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Piano from, Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. She also holds a certificate in Early Childhood Development from the NH Technical Institute.

She is a certified music teacher in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and has received the state and national certification from The Music Teachers National Association.

She has received her certification in Orff Schulwerk from U-Mass Lowell and is licensed to teach both Kindermusik and Music Together early childhood programs.

Cheryl has further training in piano pedagogy from Virginia Commonwealth University, New England Conservatory and Longy School of Music in Boston Mass.

Cheryl is an active member of the New Hampshire Music Teachers Association, American Guild of Piano Teachers, New England Pianoforte Teachers Association and Early Childhood Music & Movement Association.

A teacher since 1975, her experience includes junior high general music and chorus, early childhood music and group and private piano instruction for children and adults.

Cheryl a mother of four boys resides in Concord with her husband Larry.

Cheryl's personal philosophy of teaching is based on an old Chinese proverb:

Show me, I remember
Involve me, I understand.
